Grambling moves into FCS Top 25, but Bethune tops most black college polls

Grambling entered The Sports Network’s championship subdivision national Top 25 poll this week for the first time in the 2010 campaign.

In black college football polling, Grambling was also tops in the BoxtoRow.com/BASN media poll but both the Heritage Radio Network and the Dr. Cavil’s rankings have Bethune-Cookman at No. 1.

The Sheridan Broadcasting Network Black College Football Poll had still not been updated as of Tuesday morning.

Bethune and South Carolina State each inched up in national FCS polling, while the Bulldogs remained just behind Albany State at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively in this week’s BoxtoRow rankings.

After stumbling against South Carolina State last week, Hampton has fallen from No. 4 to 6 according to Dr. Cavil’s. Winston-Salem State also climbed to the No. 5 spot on BoxtoRow’s list.
